Glycol Ether PNB
Glycol Ether PNB is a practical alternative to Glycol Ether EB and is partly water soluble and miscible with most organic solvents. It lowers the surface tension of cleaning solutions to improve the wetting of the surface to be cleaned and to penetrate the layer of soil to be removed. It is a fast evaporating hydrophobic glycol ether with high solvency. In coatings, it offers good coalescing ability in systems requiring fast evaporation. Overall PNB is an outstanding solvent and coupling agent because it combines the characteristics of alcohols and ethers.
