Sodium Percarbonate is a white crystalline powder that when added to water releases hydrogen peroxide, a powerful disinfectant and cleaner.

Sodium Percarbonate (coated), NSF Grade also known as Sodium Carbonate Peroxide or "Oxygen Bleach,"  is used for whitening, bleaching and cleaning. Sometimes called "Oxygen Bleach" sodium percarbonate combines hydrogen peroxide with sodium carbonate. When dissolved in water, the hydrogen peroxide is liberated creating a good performing whitener, cleaner, and bleaching type agent.  It is also a stable solid source of active oxygen in a convenient powder form.

Sodium percarbonate is often used as an effective, eco-friendly, and non-caustic cleaner and sanitizer in wineries and breweries to clean tanks, barrels, kegs, beer lines, and equipment. It is effective since it breaks down into hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate, effectively removing organic soils, stains, and biofilm. 

It is also used as a bleaching agent and cleaner in commercial and household cleaning products, and laundry detergents.

A benefit of using Sodium Percarbonate besides it's effective cleaning and stain removal is that is is Eco-Friendly. Sodium Percarbonate breaks down into non-toxic biodegradable components (water/oxygen/sodium carbonate). Plus it has the benefits of neutralizing odors by attacking the organic substances causing them.

HANDLING:

• Do not mix the product with incompatible products such as acids, high-alkaline materials, metals, salts of metals, or any other organic product.
• Any containers and/or equipment handling the product should be dedicated to exclusive use of the product.
• Avoid long-term exposure of the product to conditions of high humidity.
• Process piping and equipment must be completely clean and dry before handling the product.
• Vent any tanks, silos or containers where the product is kept for long periods of time.

STORAGE

• Must be stored in a cool, dry, clean area with temperatures below 95 F / 35°C - do not store in direct sunlight
• keep away from combustible materials.             
• Stable under normal and recommended conditions. 
• Keep product covered and protected especially in areas of high (> 50% R.H.) humidity.
• Keep product away from heat sources such as motors, heated tanks, or heating units.
• Avoid storage of products near other reactive materials such as acids, high-alkaline products, metals or salts of metals, and any other organic material.
• Properly vent any containers storing the product.

Sodium Percarbonate cannot ship with many other HazMat product per DOT rules. We will contact you if you are buying other products that are also HAZMAT and help work out the best freight to minimize costs.
