Polysorbate 80 Food Grade Kosher
Polysorbate 80 is a non-ionic, hydrophilic surfactant used to make oil-in-water emulsions. This synthetic compound is a viscous, water soluble yellow liquid. Polysorbate 80 is insoluble in vegetable oils and mineral oils.
APPLICATIONS: Polysorbate 80 is often used as an effective stabilizer and emulsifier in a wide range of food products and industrial applications and is especially effective at forming stable emulsions when combined with sorbitan esters.
