Sodium Benzoate FCC Grade is a food preservative and is bacteriostatic and fungistatic in acidic conditions. Sodium Benzoate 33% is a solution of water and Sodium Benzoate. Sodium Benzoate inhibits the growth of mold, potentially harmful bacteria, and other microbes in food. It is very effective in acidic foods.
