MCT/Medium-chain fatty acids are extracted from palm kernel oil or coconut oil. (there are also blends) However, origin of MCT oil has no bearing on the functionality, quality, or nutritional values of the oil. Fractionated MCT Oil is clear and odorless leaving no greasy feeling. It contains high levels of Caprylic (C8) and Capric (C10) fatty acids.
