Food grade MCT Oil, short for "medium-chain triglycerides," is a fractionated oil used in a variety of applications. MCT oil is found in foods, nutritional products and supplements, and in many CBD oils for example.

Food grade MCT Oil is highly stable, liquid at room temperature, colorless, and virtually odorless material. It contains high levels of Caprylic (C8) and Capric (C10) fatty acids.

The MCT/Medium-chain fatty acids are most commonly extracted from palm kernel oil or coconut oil. Interestingly, the origin of MCT oil has no bearing on the functionality, quality, or nutritional values of the oil.
