Storage: Calcium chloride 94-97 anhydrous is both hygroscopic and deliquescent, meaning that it can both absorb moisture from the air, even to the point of converting to liquid brine. Because of this, solid calcium chloride must be stored in a dry area away from moisture. Always tightly seal opened bags.
