RootX is a foaming product that kills tree roots on contact. RootX foams on contact with water and fills your entire pipe to the top where most root intrusion starts and leaves a thin layer of herbicide in pipe to prevent re-growth.
It uses the aquatic herbicide Dichlobenil. RootX is non-caustic, non-fumigating and non-systemic, and, unlike other products, does not contain diquat dibromide, copper sulfate or metam sodium.
RootX is completely safe on pipes, septic systems or above-ground vegetation, and has minimal environmental impact. It is is registered with the EPA (#68464-1) in all 50 states as well as Canada. RootX carries the signal word CAUTION, the lowest chemical hazard rating. 4 Lb RootX available here
