RootX is a high performing foaming product that kills tree roots on contact. RootX foams on contact with water and fills your entire pipe to the top where most root intrustion starts and leaves a thin layer of the active ingredient herbicide in pipe to prevent re-growth.
RootX is non-caustic, non-fumigating and non-systemic, and, unlike other products, does not contain diquat dibromide, copper sulfate or metam sodium. It uses the effective aquatic herbicide Dichlobenil.
RootX is completely safe on pipes, septic systems or above-ground vegetation, and has minimal environmental impact. RootX is registered with the EPA (#68464-1) in all 50 states as well as Canada. In addition, RootX carries the signal word CAUTION, the lowest chemical hazard rating.
