IO-Star Iodine-Based Sanitizer
IO-Star is a low-foaming iodophor sanitizer for beer and wine making equipment. Use at a rate of 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of cold water, which is a great economical dilution rate! This sanitizer is effective against most mold and yeast. IO-Star requires two minutes of contact time but requires no rinsing. This product can stain vinyl tubing and plastic parts, but it will not affect the functionality of the tubing or plastic.
