Calsoft® LAS-99 is a high-activity linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid with over 97% active content. Renowned for its superior detergency, high foaming properties, and light color, this versatile surfactant is ideal for a wide range of applications. It is highly effective in household, industrial, and institutional cleaners, including laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, car wash solutions, and heavy-duty degreasers. Calsoft® LAS-99 is also widely used in oil treatment intermediates, where it reacts with alkyl amines to produce oil-soluble sulfonates, and in metal-treating baths, where it enhances grease removal, surface wetting, and residue-free rinsing.
