Sodium Xylene Sulfonate is an economical hydrotrope that is widely used in HI&I formulations and many industrial applications to effectively reduce viscosity, increase solubility, improve clarity, and to aid in coupling and dispersing. It is used to solubilize organic surface active agents in liquid cleaners, organic polymers, and dyestuffs. It can also be used to stabilize solutions of alkanolamides.
