Caustic Soda Beads

Caustic Soda beads, also known as lye or by the chemical name "Sodium Hydroxide", is used in many commercial and industrial manufacturing processes.
Caustic Soda is diliquescent, dissolves in water, and hygroscopic (attracts moisture). The bead is ~3/4 millimeter in diameter. This type of Caustic Soda is lest dusty than the flake form of Sodium Hydroxide which means easier handling. Solution rate is typically quicker than flake which is a timer saver for those making a lye bath.
