Caustic Soda beads, chemical name "Sodium Hydroxide", has uses in all kinds of commercial,industrial, chemical manufacturing processes, and even some specialty food preparation.
Caustic Soda is often found in commercial and industrial applications, soapmaking (known as "lye") as well as a wide assortment of chemical processes. Often used in metal cleaning, scouring, and heavy duty cleaning and degreasing, and in other types of manufacturing, including the petroleum industry.As a general cleaning agent it is often used as an oven cleaner, vent-a-hood cleaner in commercial applications, and even as an industrial grade drain cleaner. As a general laboratory chemical, it is an alklai and used to raise pH.

Caustic Soda is easily dissolved in water since it is hygroscopic.
This type of Caustic Soda from Level 7 is less dusty than the flake form of Sodium Hydroxide which means easier handling.
