Soda Ash (Lite)
Soda Ash "Lite", also known as the chemical Sodium Carbonate, is widely used as a pH buffer and regulator, and to provide alkalinity, increasing pH, in water for example.
Soda Ash is also often used as a cleaning agent and builder for detergent manufacturing, helping disperse soil particles, as well as use as a water softneer helping to disperse minerals like calcium and magnesium in hard water. It is also used in the textile manufacturing as pH adjustment and as a fixative when dyeing with fiber-reactive dyes.
