Ascorbic Acid powder, also known commonly know as Vitamin C is a widely used ingredient for use many food and beverage products. The main uses are to provide Vitamin C in an easy to use form. Ascorbic, in addition to the benefits of provding Vitamin C, is also used as an effective anti-oxidant.

Vitamin C is an acidulant, creating a sour taste in food and beverage products.

It is also reported to be an effective stain remover in pools.
