Dodecylbenzene Sulfonic Acid (DDBSA) sometimes known as "LABSA", is used for formulating industrial and institutional (I&I) and househould (H I & I ) cleaning, and degreasing formulations / applications. This viscous, amber-to-brown liquid serves as a highly concentrated, cost-effective surfactant precursor that delivers exceptional grease cutting, emulsification, and robust foam stabilization. Highly biodegradable and stable across broad temperature ranges, DDBSA is easily neutralized in situ using sodium, potassium, or ammonium bases to yield high-performance linear alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS) salts. It provides superior wetting and degreasing efficiency, making it a foundational component for heavy-duty industrial degreasers, transportation/ truck and vehicle washes, and quality hard-surface cleaners, and degreasers, and agriculture type chemicals like herbicides and pesticides. It is highly biodegradable, cost-effective.
Safety - Read and follow SDS. Use suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Due to its highly corrosive nature to human tissue and metals, workers must wear chemical-resistant goggles, rubber gloves, and protective suits when handling DDBSA
Storage - Store in a cool and dry location.
