Caustic Soda Beads
(Sodium Hydroxide Beads)
Caustic Soda beads, also known as lye or by the chemical name "Sodium Hydroxide", is used in many commercial and industrial manufacturing processes.
They are diliquescent (dissolves in moisture) as well as hygroscopic (attracts moisture). The bead is ~3/4 millimeter in diameter. This type of Caustic Soda is lest dusty than the flake form of Sodium Hydroxide. The solution rate is typically much quicker than flake, usually twice as fast.
