ELECTRIC DRUM HEATER With Pre-Set Thermostat - For 55 Gallon Poly / Plastic Drums

Drum Heater 

The model LIM-55 heater is an excelent choice for warming and heating poly / plastic drums. Since it has a built in  pre-set factory non-adjustable thermostat, and is designed for heating materials in 55 gallon high density polyethylene drums it makes it easier and safer to warm a poly / plastic drum  The thermostat is factory set and will not exceed the maximum plastic-safe temperature of 165° F that is recommended by many manufacturers of the poly / plastic drums.

This non insulated heater is constructed of rugged aluminized steel. The heater is installed easily. Just wrap it or set it around the drum and set the  spring-loaded toggle clamps, and then turn on the unit. Units are equipped with on-off power control, neon pilot light and a 6 foot power cord with a standard three-prong plug.

Only for indoor use. Units are not moisture-proof nor explosion-proof. Not for use with flammables or near a flammable area.

Caution: Do not warm or heat drums unattended and without monitoring. Do not allow liquid in a container to fall below the level of the heater will render the heater ineffective and could irreparably damage the plastic drum and potentially cause injury or damage or be a fire hazard. 

Electric drum heaters should only be used to warm or to heat NON-FLAMMABLE, NON-COMBUSTIBLE materials only in a NON-HAZARDOUS area.
