Ascorbic Acid
Ascorbic Acid powder, commonly known as Vitamin C is a widely used ingredient in food and beverage products. Ascorbic, in addition to the benefits of providing Vitamin C, is also reported to be an effective anti-oxidant.

Ascorbic is used to help extend the shelf life of harvested fruits and vegetables by preventing browning and maintaining freshness. It is also used to help preserve the freshness and appearance of cut fruits and vegetables by preventing enzymatic browning.
Ascorbic Acid is also reported to be useful neutralizing chlorine in water.
